On Thursday, September 17, virtually join elected officials, business leaders, students, passenger rail experts, environmental organizations and transportation enthusiasts for the Montana Passenger Rail Summit.

  • Learn about the creation of the Big Sky Passenger Rail Authority in Montana;

  • Hear from experts on the economic benefits of expanded passenger rail service, opportunities for public-private partnerships, and what a passenger rail system for the 21st century might look like; and

  • Understand ways that that members of the public, elected officials, and private sector stakeholders can help restore passenger rail to southern Montana!

Why: To create a transformational project for Montana — establishing safe, reliable, affordable intercity, long-distance passenger rail service through southern Montana
